Description
- Answer and route calls; schedule and confirm appointments.
- Greet and check in patients; maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and pharmacy information.
- Verify insurance, collect copays/balances, and assist with basic billing inquiries.
- Scan and manage patient documentation in the EHR.
- Coordinate interpreter services and address patient communication needs.
- Monitor reception area, communicate delays, and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Process medical record requests, forms, and daily reports/deposits.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer systems, phone operations, and documentation.
- Knowledge of insurance, eligibility, and medical terminology preferred.
- Professional, team-oriented, and detail-driven.
