Description
Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs, goals, and timelines.
- Contribute to the planning and development of projects.
- Supporting the coordination and management of projects.
- Track and report project progress, identifying any issues and assisting in resolution.
- Performing tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, ordering, etc.
- Keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
- Assist project managers with estimating, field measuring, preparing submittal packages, developing schedules of values, change orders and support scheduling and coordination of installations.
- Attend WIP meetings for review of ongoing project status and new jobs in the pipeline.
- The employee may be required to climb ladders up to 6 feet high as needed on-site.
Assistant Project Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Degree in business management/construction or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in project management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and project management software.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- OSHA 30 and CPR certifications are preferred but not required.
