Job Summary:
Supports a safe and healthy work environment by monitoring and promoting compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. Collaborates with team members to identify and address potential hazards, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Applies technical knowledge to assist in the implementation of safety programs and initiatives that minimize risk and enhance operational efficiency. Communicates effectively with employees at all levels to foster understanding and engagement in safety practices. Applies technical expertise to proactively identify and address EHS risks in daily operations, and supports root cause analysis efforts for incidents by providing relevant data and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with team members to identify, correct, and prevent potential hazards, directly implementing solutions such as repairing or installing protective measures to maintain a safe work environment and support continuous improvement.
Assists in the development and delivery of safety training sessions for employees within established guidelines.
Maintains accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
Supports standard and non-standard incident investigations by gathering information and documenting findings.
Monitors the safe management of specific project strategies to ensure safe handling practices.
Coordinates with team members to implement safety improvements and preventive measures.
Communicates safety policies and procedures clearly to promote understanding and adherence.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction training required.
First Aid (FA) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification, or Naloxone Administration (Narcan) certification preferred.
Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification preferred.
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification optional.
