Demonstrated expertise in execution-plan analysis, indexing strategies, query optimization, transaction management, and diagnosing blocking, deadlocks, and data-integrity issues. Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting enterprise production applications and data solutions, including reporting, integrations, data pipelines, application security, business rules, and system triggers.
  • Experience working with administrative-level system access and confidential or sensitive business data, with consistent adherence to least-privilege access, access governance, auditability, data-handling requirements, and appropriate discretion.
  • Strong technical curiosity and persistence in understanding system behavior, tracing complex issues, testing changes, and documenting findings.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment within established controls, manage detailed technical work through completion, and coordinate effectively with vendors and business partners when needed.
  • Experience using approved automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve support, data quality, reporting, and efficiency is preferred.

 Skills Descriptors:

Requirements Analysis:

  • Ability to ask detailed questions, clarify expected system behavior, identify data and reporting needs, document current and desired processes, and convert requirements into specific technical tasks and testable outcomes.

System Testing:

  • Knowledge of system, integration, data, and software testing; ability to develop and execute test strategies for functional changes, validate data integrity, confirm security and regression results, and assess production readiness, including rollback and recovery planning.

Technical Troubleshooting:

  • Knowledge of monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis; ability to independently resolve production issues, assess business and data impact, escalate suspected security incidents, and coordinate sustainable solutions with vendors and business partners.
