Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking an aggressive Regional Sales Manager to drive growth for our external MDF business. While this position is responsible for managing existing accounts; the primary focus for this role is a "hunter, "focused heavily on new business development. The candidate will support both internal and external sales initiatives. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting US sales targets and profit for MDF/HDF (medium density/high density fiberboard) business.
- Driving continuous improvements to sales forecasts by actively monitoring performance metrics and partnering with Demand Planning and customers to adjust projections.
- Aligning business strategies with Swiss Krono’s (SK) production strengths to drive growth.
- Spearheading component sales by partnering with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and value-added resellers who incorporate SK’s parts into their finished goods.
- Working alongside the Director of MDF Sales to build and execute plans that ensure yearly revenue goals are met and to develop product ranges that optimize factory production and boost profits.
- Champion high-priority product launches and ensuring long-standing partnerships remain foundational to the company's success, the merchants, and supply chain teams.
- Driving intricate contract negotiations and clearly articulating value propositions during client presentations.
- Leading the implementation of operational strategies to meet targets and maximizing sales performance to budget and strategically optimize the portfolio mix.
- Analyzing monthly/quarterly sales and partner with teams to adjust strategies and achieve budget.
- Must have the ability to: Analyze market dynamics—including product assortment, pricing strategies, and category trends—to drive strategic business decisions and maintain broad knowledge of SK’s products and the overall MDF industry.
Professional Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working within MDF business capacity with a demonstrated track record of business growth. We will only consider applicants with OSB, Particle Board, or MDF sales experience.
- Relevant “supplier-based sales” experience with extensive program management.
- Practical analytic skills and forecasting principles.

- Strong skill set in the use of Office suite (Excel) (Word).
- Data analysis – collect, organize, and interpret data.
- Organization and creative copywriting skills.
- Experienced in utilizing various software systems for sales tracking, copy development, and editing, Microsoft 356 Suite, and project management software.

Plant Environment:
- Employees will be exposed to loud noise that may exceed 87 decibels.
- Employees must be able to complete task under extreme hot climate temperatures internally on the shop floor, which can exceed 110 degrees F.
• Employee will be subjected to all environmental elements such as exposure to high/low temperatures, sun/rain,
confined spaces etc.
• Employee must be able to complete daily tasks under little to no supervision, should have the ability to multitask
in a challenging environment, making decisions quickly with clear consistent communication.
