Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong. We promote leaders at every level and support our people to follow their passion.
As part of the broader Supply Chain Logistics organization, the Transport Systems & Processes team is responsible for the design, implementation, support and continuous improvement of transportation systems and processes that enable Loblaw's Transport Planning and Operations teams.
The Senior Analyst, Transport Systems & Processes will play a key role in implementing and supporting Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Transport Offshore applications used to plan, execute and manage transportation operations. This role will partner closely with Transport Planning, Transport Operations, IT, vendors and other Supply Chain stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions.
The Senior Analyst will support initiatives throughout the full implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, training, adoption and ongoing sustainment. The role will also help drive the team's Agile delivery practices, including backlog management, story grooming/refinement, sprint planning and scrum ceremonies.
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership and working collaboratively across business and technology teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong communication skills and a desire to grow their career within Supply Chain and Transportation.

- Business & Systems Analysis: Partner with Transport Planning and Operations subject matter experts to understand business processes, identify requirements and translate them into functional requirements, user stories and system solutions.
- Business/Technology Partnership: Act as a key liaison between Transport Operations, IT, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and successfully delivered.
- Project & Agile Delivery: Support project delivery using both traditional project management and Agile methodologies. Facilitate or support scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming/refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Backlog & User Story Management: Develop, refine and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria in partnership with business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring the backlog is ready to support upcoming development sprints.
- Testing & Deployment: Coordinate and support QA, SIT and UAT activities, including development of test scenarios, defect management, business validation and readiness for implementation.
- Implementation & Change Management: Support implementation planning, cutover, go-live and stabilization activities while working with operational stakeholders to drive adoption of new applications and business processes.
- Application Support & Sustainment: Represent Transport Operations by partnering with Loblaw IT to ensure transportation application issues are effectively managed. Monitor, prioritize and escalate functional, integration and performance issues to ensure timely resolution within established SLAs.
- Process Improvement: Analyze transportation processes, system performance and operational issues to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation and process improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to operational leadership and project stakeholders regarding project status, risks, issues, system availability, upcoming changes and implementation readiness.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and maintain process documentation, support training material development and provide coaching and knowledge transfer to SMEs and end users.
- Accountability & Initiative: Demonstrate a high level of accountability and initiative by proactively identifying issues and opportunities, taking ownership of actions through completion, and contributing to the successful delivery of team commitments.
