Key Responsibilities:

• As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.
• Your day to day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team removing obstacles to ensure smooth progress and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• You will identify and report progress through appropriate metrics.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices within the team and across projects.
• Support team members in overcoming challenges and encourage a culture of open communication and collaboration.
• Analyze project metrics to provide insights that enhance team performance and delivery quality.
• Facilitate alignment between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding of goals and priorities.
• Promote an environment that embraces change and adapts Agile processes to meet evolving project needs.

Note: role requires 60% onsite client work in Plano, TX and client mandated time away 5 days per quarter

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years total IT experience
• 3+ years cross functional project management experience
  3+ year facilitating triages for project defects
• Expert proficiency in Agile Project Management
• Bachelor's degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Dependency Management
• Advanced proficiency in Cross Team Collaboration

 

 

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
