What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or selected items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols, and report irregular findings through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting site personnel during security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring access points and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and screening records, and communicate clearly with supervisors, visitors, drivers, and/or staff regarding site procedures and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
