Business Intelligence Senior Manager

The core challenge is to convert large volumes of network, customer, market, and third-party data into practical decisions that improve revenue growth, asset utilisation, customer outcomes, and return on invested capital.

You will help the business understand where telecom demand is moving, what customers are likely to need next, which locations are commercially and technically feasible, and how changing technologies may affect future site quantities and locations.

Profile for Success

You will be strongest in this role if you can show evidence of having:

• Led or materially contributed to telecom network planning, optimisation, rollout, RF planning, or network design work.
• Used BI, data analytics, or data science to influence real commercial or network decisions.
• Built, improved, or validated predictive / machine learning models using real operational or market data.
• Worked with SQL and Python or R to extract, manipulate, analyse, and explain complex datasets.
• Used GIS, ArcGIS, or equivalent spatial analysis tools to support location, coverage, network, or infrastructure decisions.
• Engaged technical customers or internal stakeholders and translated requirements into practical recommendations.
• Presented technical insight clearly to senior, non-technical, commercial, sales, site-acquisition, or operations stakeholders.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Diploma or certification in Data Science.
• 8+ years’ telecom network optimisation / planning experience.
• 5+ years’ BI or data analytics experience, preferably in telecom, real estate, infrastructure, or towerco environments.
• 3+ years’ experience creating machine learning / predictive models.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python or R, GIS / ArcGIS, BI visualisation tools, and large-scale data platforms such as Google BigQuery.
• English proficiency and a valid driver’s licence.
