This role plays an important part in ensuring workforce data is accurate and reliable, which underpins reporting, workforce insights, and informed decision-making across the organization. This is an in-office role, with an expectation to work on-site four days per week.

What you'll do

  • Review, triage, and resolve first-level Workday cases, supporting timely and accurate case management.

  • Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve discrepancies between Workday data and supporting documentation (e.g., termination dates, hours entered).

  • Maintain data integrity within Workday, ensuring accuracy of key fields such as FTE, employee type, and organizational segments.

  • Identify and resolve duplicate employee records, determining appropriate actions such as rescind, retain, or data consolidation.

  • Create and maintain Supervisory Organizations and assign appropriate security roles.

  • Configure delegation access for store and corporate employees in accordance with business requirements.

  • Ensure all HR data is handled with the highest level of accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy standards.

  • Support testing of HR processes and system enhancements in partnership with Analysts and leadership.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance employee and manager experience, including highlighting root causes of issues.

  • Maintain SIN and work permit data audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in and support the resolution of various data audits across the team to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage and support Service Connection processes, ensuring timely handling and resolution of requests.

What you bring

  • 1–2 years of hands-on Workday transactional experience; familiarity with HR case management systems is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools, with demonstrated experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage workloads within tight timelines.

  • A detail-oriented and outcome-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • A proactive communicator who builds strong partnerships across HR, Technology, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptable and open to continuous improvement, with a willingness to learn and follow established processes.

  • A service-oriented professional who delivers responsive, accurate support to employees, managers, and partners.

  • Exercises sound judgment and applies established guidelines to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.
