In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering customer service with integrity, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production-related areas, and perimeter to observe conditions and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while following Allied Universal standards and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
