Description
The City of Gunnison Parks & Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic Recreation Program Instructors to lead fun, safe, and engaging programs for participants of all ages and abilities. Instructors lead classes, practices, and activities in areas such as sports, fitness, arts, outdoor recreation, and youth programs while creating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages learning, confidence, and community connection.
This temporary, non-exempt position is ideal for individuals ages 15 and older who enjoy working with people, staying active, and sharing their skills. Recreation Program Instructors create engaging, safe, and inclusive learning experiences for participants of all ages and skill levels. They lead classes, workshops, and activities across a wide range of recreational disciplines, helping individuals develop skills, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful leisure experiences. Instructors serve as positive role models, uphold program standards, and contribute to a welcoming community environment. | ||||
