Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support to the nursing department.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist residents and families.
- Maintain medical records in accordance with facility policies.
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge paperwork.
- Keep charts updated and organized.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, providers, and other staff.
- Perform data entry, scheduling, and general office duties.
- Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior experience in a healthcare or office setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (EMR experience a plus).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
