Assistant Finance Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance function by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial data to deliver accurate financial reporting, evaluating business performance, and providing value-adding insights that enable informed decision-making. You will contribute to ensuring reliable company reporting while supporting business priorities and continuous financial improvement.

This position reports to the Finance Manager and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports to support business decisions.
• Support the Finance Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business and management requirements.
• Perform cost analysis and support effective cost control and inventory management.
• Coordinate financial reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Contribute to improving financial reporting processes, systems, and tools.
• Support accounting, credit control, and other finance operations as required.
• Generate regular and on-demand financial reports using ERP and other business systems.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

​What We Look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA, ACMA, or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
