Job Summary:
The Junior Systems Administrator is an in-office position which supports day-to-day IT operations by assisting with user support (including provisioning accesses and hardware), maintaining hardware and software, monitoring system health, and resolving routine technical issues. They must possess strong writing and communication skills because they have oversight of the company's technological areas including hardware acquisitions, development, and implementation of strategic measures germane to the organization's goals. The Junior Systems Administrator must be able to research technology carefully and collaborate with the CEO and other department heads regarding technological trends and implementation of technology.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Successfully troubleshoot an array of IT-related issues and implement resolutions efficiently. This can mean meeting a staff person in the community or their home to help with their technology needs occasionally
- Assist with planning and scoping future updates/efforts
- Coordinate with other staff to determine current IT needs
- Ensure reporting needs are met timely (User Data Pulls, KPIs, Cost Analysis, etc.)
- Manage current development life cycle
- Manage our contracts and accounts with third party IT vendors.
- Increase our SEO.
- Clearly articulate everything that our technology can and can’t support and how to mitigate issues and concerns
- Define realistic timelines and expectations for each initiative
- Identify potential solutions, as needed, to support the organization’s tasks and goals and communicate them to applicable leadership
- Objectively identify ways to meet 80% of the need with 20% of the cost
- Keep the company in compliance with regulatory requirements and data safety measures
- Ensure the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business
- Assess risks to the company and ensure they are monitored and minimized
- Participate in, and in some cases lead, meetings with the CEO and other executives, as applicable
- Generate creative technology ideas
- Ensure any applicable metrics and performance pointers are in place in order to measure all progress
- Work collaboratively with other divisions within OTSS to create a cohesive organization
- All other tasks as needed
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to see the big picture.
- Proficiency in current systems including database management and reporting.
- Ability to prioritize company needs and develop/plan accordingly.
- Understanding of backup and restore requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate everything that our technology can and can’t do and provide alternate solutions to objectives unable to be met within current structure.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass DHS background check
- Minimum 3 years of relatable technological experience
