Position: Manager of Outpatient Therapy Clinics

Shifts: Days

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8 hour | Exempt

Responsibilities

• The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and delivery of admitting and registration services while maintaining continuous quality improvement for the clinics.
• Effectively interacts with staff, patients, patients’ family, and health team members, while maintaining standards of professional service.
• The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager is responsible for daily operations, managing referrals, monthly reports and dashboards.
• The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager will analyze and reconcile financial and vendor reports for the clinics.
• The Outpatient Therapy Clinics manager is accountable to the Director of Business Development for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, training, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three to five years experience in health care preferred
• Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physical therapists, public, staff, and administrations
• Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret and analyze financial and accounting reports
• Knowledge of, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, Commercial and W/C insurance verifications, preferred
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer Services experience required
• Working knowledge of computer systems, equipment and processes commonly performed within the Outpatient Therapy Clinics area.
• Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the Outpatient Therapy Clinics
