AP AR Accountant

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking an AP/AR Accountant for a consultancy mission at a client site. In this role, you will be part of the Accountancy & Collections Department, responsible for the operational follow-up of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities. You will monitor dealer and supplier accounts, ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions, analyze open items, and actively follow up on outstanding balances. This position emphasizes the consultant identity, allowing you to work closely with dealers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain reliable financial data and support efficient monthly closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Following up dealer accounts and Accounts Payable supplier accounts, including open items, overdue balances, and payment differences.
• Reviewing, validating, and processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and other accounting documents in line with internal procedures.
• Monitoring Accounts Receivable input and ensuring that invoices, credit notes, and incoming payments are posted accurately and on time.
• Performing account analyses and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and documenting corrective actions.
• Following up outstanding receivables with dealers and internal business contacts, including reminders and payment clarification.
• Supporting month-end closing activities, including AP/AR reconciliation, aging reviews, accruals, and reporting.
• Contributing to process improvements, internal controls, and projects.

Profile Requirements:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or have equivalent practical experience.
• You have relevant experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable; experience with dealer or supplier account follow-up is an asset.
• You have a strong analytical mindset and work with accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
• You are comfortable with reconciliations, open-item analysis, bank transactions, and payment processing.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
• You have a good knowledge of SAP and are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• You are proactive, service-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
