Description Summary

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to support business growth and enhance Toll's overall customer experience. The position plays an important role in driving customer satisfaction, strengthening customer retention and contributing to overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Support & Training

• Guide and train newly joined staff on the correct procedures, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

2. Shipment Monitoring & Coordination

• Check and manage the Batam agent's daily shipment forecast to ensure that no jobs are missed.
• Ensure all Less-than-Container Load (LCL) cargo is checked and collected on time.
• Support the team in planning vessel loading, berthing arrangements and rescheduling when required.
• Liaise with the Singapore and Batam Operations teams to monitor and follow up on shipment status.
• Coordinate with internal teams on warehouse and shipment arrangements.

3. Shipping Documentation & Customs Clearance

• Issue Bills of Lading (BL) and other supporting documents required for shipping purposes.
• Declare customs clearance permits.
• Respond to customs queries and handle related compound matters.

4. Customer Service & Order Management

• Liaise with customers on daily incoming and outgoing order requests.
• Arrange deliveries and collections according to customer requirements.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues in accordance with customer agreements and relevant operational processes.
• Ensure timely follow-up and coordination to maintain a high standard of customer service.

5. Other Responsibilities

• Carry out other customer service-related duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
