Job Description

As a Security Officer Morning Dispatcher in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting a utilities location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor systems, document incidents, and direct resources to support timely responses. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain clear communication with site personnel, and help promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate communications from alarm systems, cameras, access control systems, field personnel, and other operational channels to support timely response to incidents.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, outages, suspicious activity, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communication records in accordance with site procedures.
• Coordinate with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership during critical situations, escalating information according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
