Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst 1 to support the design, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and monitoring of electronic security systems across company facilities and assets.
This role will work closely with electronic security personnel, engineering teams, contractors, and facility stakeholders throughout all stages of security system projects, including analysis, design, construction, implementation, testing, programming, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electronic security projects from initial design through installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and final implementation.
- Design physical and electronic security solutions for company facilities, including critical infrastructure locations.
- Configure and program electronic security platforms, including:
- Software House C•CURE access control systems
- Avigilon VMS video surveillance systems
- SiteOwl
- Aiphone intercom systems
- Power BI
- Program intrusion detection zones, alarm points, and system integrations used for security monitoring.
- Support installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades for electronic security systems.
- Develop and review security system layouts, device locations, network requirements, and system configurations.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders during construction and system implementation.
- Perform functional testing and commissioning to verify proper system operation.
- Support integration between access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and monitoring systems.
- Troubleshoot electronic security hardware, software, communications, and network-related issues.
- Ensure electronic security projects comply with applicable safety requirements, building codes, company standards, and policies.
- Maintain appropriate system documentation, configuration information, testing records, and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with low-voltage electronics, computer systems, networking, or electronic security systems.
- Experience with the design, installation, programming, service, or maintenance of:
- Intrusion detection systems
- Access control systems
- Video surveillance systems
- Intercom systems
- Hands-on experience with Software House C•CURE access control systems.
- Experience with Avigilon VMS or similar video management systems.
- Experience with Aiphone intercom systems.
- Knowledge of electronic security system integration and alarm monitoring.
Networking Requirements
Strong understanding of network technologies used in electronic security environments, including:
- IP addressing and device naming
- TCP/IP networking
- Web and proxy services
- Internet connectivity
- Firewalls
- Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
- Remote computing and remote system access
- Network-connected security devices and servers
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing electronic security projects from design through commissioning.
- Experience supporting security systems at industrial, utility, or critical infrastructure facilities.
- Experience with SiteOwl.
- Experience creating reports or dashboards using Power BI.
- Ability to interpret electronic security drawings, plans, specifications, and system documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering teams, contractors, IT/network personnel, and security operations staff.
