Job Description:

The Senior Procurement Manager in Construction focuses on controlling procurement costs and promoting long-term savings.
Key tasks include organizing tenders, negotiating supplier rates, and maintaining relationships for timely deliveries. It also involves tracking unit prices and reporting metrics for improved efficiency.

• Control spend and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
• Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best prices for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
• Organize tenders; gather offers from various suppliers, do bid comparisons and further negotiate with the suppliers in order to get best possible rates; conclude frame agreements.
• Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and on-time deliveries.
• Keep an overview of unit prices to identify opportunities for their continual reduction.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
