We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to join the Financial Transactions team for a six-month fixed term contract.
As a Purchasing Officer, you’ll be focussed on:
- Managing purchasing workflows including creation and amendments Purchase Orders
- Managing the ticket queue and shared mailboxes for requests from the wider business
- Providing support and training to the business around the P2P process and SAP
- Responding to external queries regarding orders
- Supporting the team with data maintenance in SAP
This full-time role is based in Wellington Conservation House.

If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you:
- demonstrated understanding of P2P process in SAP or a similar ERP system
- knowledge of purchasing or procurement principles and processes
- administration and data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively provide technical expertise
- able to build and maintain relationships with internal customers, peers, and external suppliers
- highly organised, and able to meet deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer savvy and a quick learner of software and technical systems

Salary: $65,590–$76,589, depending on skills and experience.
