Project Manager - Contract / FTC

 

YourCode Recruitment is working with an established B2B SaaS organisation looking for an experienced Project Manager to support an important period of product change and transition.

This is an immediate requirement, so candidates who are available now or able to start at short notice are particularly encouraged to apply.

 

This is a broad, business-focused Project Management position rather than a deeply technical role. You’ll take ownership of coordinating a key product change, bringing together stakeholders from across the organisation and ensuring the transition is well planned, communicated and delivered.

 

The initial engagement will be for six months, with flexibility to appoint either on a fixed-term contract or day-rate basis.

 

As Project Manager, you’ll provide the structure, coordination and stakeholder management required to successfully deliver a significant product change across the business.

You’ll work across multiple teams, establishing clear plans, responsibilities and timelines while ensuring stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the transition.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the overall project plan, milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate a business-wide product change and associated transition activities
• Manage stakeholders across product, technology, commercial, customer-facing and operational teams
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and regular progress updates
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks and potential delivery issues
• Ensure actions, responsibilities and deadlines are clearly documented and followed through
• Provide clear reporting and project visibility to senior stakeholders
• Support effective communication around changes, timelines and business impact
• Help teams navigate the transition from the current product approach to the future state
• Maintain momentum and accountability across the project

 

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable operating across different business functions and managing change within a fast-moving environment.

Ideally, you will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in Project Management or a closely related delivery role
• Previous experience within B2B SaaS, software or another technology-led organisation
• Experience managing product change, transformation, migration or transition projects
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership
• Excellent planning, organisation and project governance skills
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, timelines and competing priorities
• Confidence to challenge constructively and keep stakeholders accountable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly understand a business, its product and the wider impact of change
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice would be highly advantageous

 

Specific industry experience is not essential. We’re primarily interested in strong Project Managers who understand B2B SaaS or software environments and can bring structure, communication and clarity to a period of product change.

The position is fully remote within the UK, although occasional travel to a company office may be required for key meetings or workshops.

 

Contract Details

• Initial term: 6 months
• Location: Fully remote – UK
• Office: Occasional visits for key meetings/workshops
• FTC salary: £60,000–£70,000 pro rata
• Contract rate: £400–£450 per day
• Start date: ASAP / immediate availability preferred
