POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our McAdoo, PA location. As our General Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of the team ensuring our manufacturing plant runs like a well-oiled machine. From keeping production lines humming to maintaining the infrastructure that supports our team’s safety and efficiency, your work will directly influence our ability to meet customer demands and maintain our reputation for quality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safety First Mentality.
• Assist Maintenance team with performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including rotary die cutters, flexo folder gluers, conveyors, and balers.  
• Maintain building systems—lighting, plumbing, compressed air, changing of ink and air filters —to ensure compliance and safety.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as lawn maintenance and snow removal.
• Ability to assist Production machine centers as necessary.
• Perform general maintenance tasks - painting, operating industrial floor scrubber, trash removal in production area which requires ability to secure fork lift operator certification.
• Ability to work the following core schedules and overtime as necessary:
  • 1st shift positions: Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am with overtime as necessary and required. 
• Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus, but not necessary.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in production-based environment, manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving experience.
• Ability to work safety at heights and in confined spaces, following all OSHA and plant safety protocols.
• Average verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision - working both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with managing multiple projects and working successfully in a fast paced environment.

Starting pay range is $ 20.00/hr to $23.00/hr with an opportunity for overtime dependent upon business needs.
