Project & Maintenance Engineer (m/w/d)
At Huntsman Advanced Materials, we are looking for an experienced Project & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Bad Säckingen. The role will support a variety of site projects, including automotive-related investments, as well as maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
This position is suitable for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, project coordination and close collaboration with production, maintenance and external partners.
Your Responsibilities
As our Project & Maintenance Engineer (m/w/d), you will:
Support key site projects – including automotive-related investments and other technical improvement projects, helping to deliver them on time, within budget and in line with technical requirements.
Ensure reliable site operations – support preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment, utilities and infrastructure.
Maintain EHS and compliance standards – ensure activities follow Huntsman’s safety, environmental and quality requirements, including relevant standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.
Contribute to continuous improvement – work with site management, production, supply chain and external partners on process changes, new product introductions and automation topics.
What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a proactive, hands-on engineer with:
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
3+ years’ experience in engineering and maintenance roles within manufacturing, ideally with a strong automotive or chemical background.
Proven success in managing projects and delivering technical readiness for automotive standards and audits.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A proactive, hands‑on, can‑do attitude
Fluency in German and English.
A passion for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
