Location: Witham

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week. Typical shifts are 7:00am to 4:00pm, although 6:00am to 3:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm may also be required.

Contract: Ongoing

Start Date: ASAP

 

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Forklift Driver with either a Bendy Forklift or Counterbalance Forklift licence to join a growing business in Witham that has recently secured a major new contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding team with ongoing work available.

This role is suitable for experienced Forklift Drivers and Warehouse Operatives with a valid forklift licence who are looking for their next opportunity.

 

What You'll Do

• Operate a Bendy or Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock around outdoor warehouse and yard areas.
• Transport products weighing between 60kg and 70kg using appropriate equipment and safe working practices.
• Support the warehouse team with general warehouse duties when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.

What We're Looking For

• A valid Bendy or Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• Experience operating a Bendy or Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse, yard or industrial environment.
• Ability to work safely in outdoor warehouse areas in all weather conditions.
• A good understanding of manual handling and workplace safety.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
