Description
The Manager, Corporate Travel Technology will manage the travel technology platform within Corporate Travel to include continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and increase operational efficiencies.
The primary duties of the Corporate Travel Technology Manager are:
Thorough research of new technology offerings to determine potential return on investment within our operation.
Oversee deployment of new technology including training of appropriate staff.
Ensure appropriate planning and testing for new products and processes.
Review third party products as required and determine integration into existing corporate framework.
Manage technical support personnel – Online booking specialist(s), script writer, data management specialists, other technical specialists.
Liase with corporate IT department to ensure that all travel department systems operate appropriately within the IT platform.
Continuously work with Operations leaders to implement internal processes to streamline front-line operations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Technology-related discipline or equivalent; six (6) or more years’ experience in the travel industry, including mid-management level expertise; demonstrated success with business and technology plan and strategy development and implementation.
Current extensive knowledge of Sabre
Project management skills and ability to own entire project from idea generation to implementation.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service and flexibility to change when necessary. Strong problem resolution skills.
