Job Description

The Operations Analyst supports the Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, & Institutional Banking (WCIB) division by managing and overseeing client monetary transactions, with a primary focus on domestic and international wire transfers and related payment activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of high-value financial transactions while maintaining a strong control environment and delivering exceptional service to clients and business partners.

We are seeking a highly analytical professional who demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to question processes, identify risks, troubleshoot complex scenarios, analyze information from multiple sources, and make sound decisions under minimal supervision. This individual takes ownership of their work, exercises good judgment, acts with integrity, and is accountable for managing their pipeline from initiation through resolution.

Basic Qualifications
- Two years or more of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in wire transfer operations, monetary movement, payment processing, treasury operations, banking operations, or wealth management services.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make informed decisions independently.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-risk operational environment.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
- Exceptional accountability, integrity, and attention to detail when handling sensitive financial information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business systems.

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm to start but beginning November, 9:30am - 6:00pm local time.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00
