Description
Brenntag Israel is looking for an Accounting Responsiblee who has hands on experience with minimum 15 years of experience. The position is based in Beer Yakov, Tel Aviv.
We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely payments, account reconciliations and compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, review, and process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process domestic and international supplier payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and payment deadlines.
- Manage payments to overseas suppliers and coordinate related documentation as required.
- Prepare and complete reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any variances or outstanding transactions.
- Conduct monthly analysis of income and expenses by business area, providing accurate financial insights to support management reporting.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and required documentation to relevant government authorities.
- Process payments to government and regulatory authorities and assist with the preparation and submission of annual statutory reports.
- Manage and record bank deposits, ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in the accounting records.
- Process and maintain accurate records of import-related files, invoices, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes.
- Fluency in English is needed.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, reconciliations, payment processing, and General Ledger activities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage.
