Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials; monitoring access points; and reporting unusual activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and personal belongings in accordance with site procedures, using approved screening equipment and protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations and concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
