Group Lead - 1st Shift

1st Shift: Monday-Friday; 6:00AM to 2:00PM

Starting Wage: $25 per hour

We are seeking a Group Lead to take key leadership role in our fast-growing production operations. You are passionate about quality optimization and know that the secret to success is a well-informed team that communicates with each other and works together to get the job done. You, in close collaboration with other team members, ensure we meet our production demands so that our customers get as much of our products and the other products we make when they need them. You are known for developing effective teams and your production expertise is put to good use as you share your knowledge help grow our team’s capabilities. You pride yourself on recognizing issues before they negatively impact production and working to solve problems and find ways to improve operations.  

Requirements

People Management:  Promoting teamwork and building strong teams is second nature to you. You walk the manufacturing lines regularly and you know your different team members because you understand how important it is to see what’s happening on the floor and have a strong relationship with your colleagues to optimize production. Your close connections help      the team achieve their goals. You’re a coach and a manager, providing feedback, instruction, encouragement and kudos, modeling great leadership and inspiring positive behavior and comradery. 

Collaboration: You are known for your ability to collaborate with lots of different personalities and colleagues across the organization. You seek input of your team and other stakeholders before you make big decisions. You’re a trusted advisor to many and a go-to problem solver when your attention is needed.

Continuous Improvement: Your team keeps improving and optimizing even in the face of every changing condition because they 

are suggesting and implementing material improvements to our operations. 

Daily Operation Support: Proper shift transitions & strong lines of communication between the different teams keep operations moving smoothly. You review all job orders and quickly determine priorities, staffing needs, and material requirements to ensure the team is meeting daily production goals. A stickler for detail, you ensure that safety, quality and maintenance procedures are followed and documented accurately, thoroughly and efficiently.
