Company Background and Position Summary

Vivace is an innovative aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, manufacture, and testing of integrated spaceflight systems, aerostructures, precision tooling, and advanced aerospace components. Located within NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility, Vivace supports some of the world's most advanced commercial aerospace, defense, and space programs through engineering excellence, manufacturing expertise, and a commitment to mission success.

Vivace is entering an exciting period of accelerated growth, operational expansion, and organizational development. The Human Resources team plays a critical role in supporting this growth by building strong leaders, developing scalable people processes, and creating an engaging, high-performance culture.

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as the senior Human Resources leader for Vivace, partnering closely with the VP & General Manager and site leadership team to drive organizational effectiveness and support the company's continued growth. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resources at the site, balancing strategic business partnership with hands-on execution across employee relations, talent management, leadership development, organizational planning, and Human Resources operations. Working closely with platform HR resources, the Senior HR Business Partner helps build scalable people practices that enable business growth while fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a strategic Human Resources partner and active member of the Vivace leadership team, aligning people strategies with business objectives, operational priorities, and organizational growth.
  • Coach and advise leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee development, performance management, succession planning, and change leadership.
  • Lead employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and performance concerns, while ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
  • Maintain a visible, hands-on presence throughout the organization and foster a positive employee experience grounded in accountability, engagement, and effective communication.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Vivace, including position intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate selection, offer development, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and build talent pipelines for aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, skilled-trade, and other hard-to-fill positions.
  • Develop relationships with trade schools, colleges, professional organizations, recruiting partners, and other talent sources to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Lead site-level talent management activities, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and new-hire integration.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the onsite Human Resources Representative, ensuring effective delivery of day-to-day Human Resources services.
  • Partner with centralized Human Resources Operations to help support payroll, benefits, HRIS, compliance, reporting, and policy administration.
  • Monitor recruiting and Human Resources metrics, identify workforce trends and organizational risks, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead Human Resources support for organizational growth, workforce expansion, business transformation, and acquisition integration activities.
  • Manage special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by the CHRO or site leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience partnering directly with senior business leaders in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial, or similarly complex operational environment.
  • Demonstrated success balancing strategic Human Resources partnership with hands-on execution.
  • Strong employee relations, leadership coaching, organizational development, and performance management experience.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth, change management, and business transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and Human Resources best practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills with leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution capabilities.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, and accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Work Conditions
