The Work
(What you’ll be doing & Your Impact)
- Own product features end to end, taking them from a defined specification and Figma designs through development, testing, and production.
- Build across both the frontend and backend of our application using TypeScript and modern web technologies.
- Develop and ship production-ready React experiences while working within established design systems and component workflows.
- Work with relational databases and ORMs to build reliable application functionality and data models.
- Work with AWS services including EC2, RDS, and Cognito for application deployments, logs, environment variables, and day-to-day production needs.
- Collaborate through a Figma → Storybook → application workflow, translating designs into consistent, reusable product experiences.
- Take ownership of your work with minimal supervision, communicate progress clearly, identify blockers early, and drive assigned features through completion.
Not Required But Nice To Have Expertise
(What would be great for you to have)
- 3+ years of verifiable professional experience building and shipping complete applications in production environments.
- Strong production experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with React and a proven track record of shipping real production features.
- Experience working with relational databases and ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or similar technologies.
- Practical AWS experience, including deployments, logs, and environment variables, with familiarity with EC2, RDS, and Cognito.
- Ability to independently take a clearly specified ticket or feature from requirements through production without constant pairing or extensive technical support.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to explain work clearly, document decisions, flag blockers early, and stay accountable without close follow-up.
- Familiarity with Storybook, Figma, and atomic design system workflows, including translating designs into reusable components and production application experiences.
