What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the firm's engagements and business development efforts within its State & Local Government practice.

Our State and Local Government practice serves clients in the areas of business design, organizational strategy, program strategy, implementation of large programs, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology strategy and transformation, compliance monitoring, program management, and reporting.

What You Will Need: 

• No sponsorship is available for this position
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Minimum of THREE (3+) years overall work experience, ideally consulting experience or experience in related field
• Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client’s management and operational challenges
• Must currently reside in the Boston area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to client locations, GH Office locations as needed to support client engagements

What Would Be Nice To Have: 

• Strong professional network and/or experience in state and local government preferably in the New England region
• Experience working on challenging projects and serving clients
• Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups
• Management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management

 

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
