Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company is hiring a Production Operator for the Austin, TX operations. In this role you will contribute to completion of products and machines assemblies by performing a sequence of predefined, specialized and different assembly operations, which includes testing and problem analysis, in cooperation with a team of differently qualified assembly technicians.

What You will do:

• Can be trained to and perform intermediate laboratory processes, tests and other duties required to support department objectives
• Which may include: pH measurements, use of balances and scales, pipetting, solution mixing, calibration of instrumentation, operation of analytical equipment and viscometer, set up/use of complex laboratory equipment and glassware
• Ensures laboratory safety through proper chemical handling, waste management and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Including flammable, corrosive and other hazardous materials
• Accountable for manufacturing and test data such as:
• Data entry into Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Intermediate level SAP navigation
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite ability
• Sustains and utilizes Lean Manufacturing principles throughout work environment
• Build products for commercial sale and use
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

The base pay range for this position is:

$45,070 - $61,974

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
