- Use real-world data and market insights to identify opportunities and influence veterinary, farm-management and animal-health practices.
- Provide technical and management support to customers, including disease monitoring, management support, tracking and veterinary training.
- Develop long-term relationships with key accounts, veterinary professionals, farmers, pet owners and other stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation and presentation.
- Work with the Technical Consultant and wider cross-functional team to deliver customer solutions, maintain accurate records and promote effective working practices across Elanco.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Veterinary Science, Business, Agriculture or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial, sales or account-management role, ideally within animal health, veterinary services, agriculture or a related industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to use customer insights and data to influence decisions and achieve results.
- Technical learning agility, with the ability to understand and communicate scientific or veterinary information clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Experience in pet health, veterinary practice, animal-health sales or the ruminant sector.
- Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation with customers or business partners.
- Experience developing and executing account strategies and managing long-term customer relationships.
- Experience delivering technical training or presenting scientific information to veterinary or agricultural audiences.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders or leading activities without direct line responsibility.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Approximately 75% field-based travel, including some overnight stays based on customer and team requirements.
- Location: Ireland, Munster region. The ideal candidate will be centrally located within the geographical area covered by the role.
- Work model: Field-based, with digital and virtual technology used where appropriate.
