- Parts Ordering & Procurement — Source OEM and aftermarket parts, negotiate pricing, place orders, track shipments, and resolve backorders or supplier issues.
- Vendor & Manufacturer Relations — Build strong relationships with suppliers, manage warranty parts processes, and stay updated on product changes or recalls.
- Service Department Support — Work closely with technicians and service advisors to identify needed parts, verify compatibility, and ensure timely delivery to work bays.
- Retail Parts Sales — Assist walk-in customers, provide product knowledge, upsell accessories, and maintain a clean, organized retail parts area.
- Pricing & Invoicing — Set retail and internal pricing, manage markups, process invoices, and ensure accurate billing for service jobs.
- Team Leadership — Train and supervise parts staff, assign daily tasks, maintain workflow efficiency, and uphold dealership policies.
- Reporting & Compliance — Generate inventory reports, track parts usage, manage returns, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
