Senior Functional Consultant

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Functional Expert – Sirion CLM to lead enterprise-scale Sirion implementations for global clients. This role is responsible for owning functional solution design, leading business-facing engagements, and ensuring successful delivery and adoption of Sirion CLM across complex contracting environments.

The role is remote-based in India and suited for a senior CLM professional who can independently lead functional workstreams, engage confidently with global stakeholders, and act as a subject matter expert for Sirion CLM.

Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Solution Ownership

• Lead end-to-end functional design and delivery for Sirion CLM implementations
• Conduct requirement discovery workshops with Legal, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Compliance stakeholders
• Translate business and legal requirements into:
  • Contract types and clause libraries
  • Authoring, negotiation, approval, and signature workflows
  • Obligation, compliance, and performance tracking configurations
• Design scalable and reusable CLM solutions aligned to enterprise contracting standards

Implementation & Delivery

• Own the functional workstream across discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases
• Partner with technical and integration teams to ensure functional intent is accurately implemented
• Review and validate system configurations, reports, and dashboards from a functional perspective
• Lead UAT planning and execution, ensuring business sign-off and readiness

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to client Legal and business leadership
• Clearly articulate Sirion CLM capabilities, limitations, and best practices
• Manage functional scope, risks, dependencies, and change requests
• Support steering committee updates, leadership reviews, and decision-making

Governance, Adoption & Change

• Define contract governance models, approval matrices, and compliance controls
• Support change management activities including training strategy, role-based enablement, and adoption planning
• Ensure alignment between Sirion CLM, client policies, and regulatory requirements

Team Leadership & Practice Development

• Mentor junior and mid-level functional consultants
• Review functional deliverables for quality and consistency
• Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and accelerators for Sirion implementations
• Support presales activities such as solutioning, demos, and RFP responses when required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience in CLM, contract management, legal operations, or enterprise system implementations
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Sirion CLM experience in a functional lead or senior consultant role
• Experience leading enterprise or multi-region CLM implementations
• Prior experience working with global clients and distributed teams

Functional & Domain Expertise

• Strong understanding of:
  • Contract authoring and negotiation processes
  • Clause and template management
  • Buy-side and sell-side contracting models
  • Obligation, compliance, and performance management
• Ability to translate complex legal and commercial requirements into system workflows

Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills
• Strong documentation skills (BRDs, functional design documents, user stories)
• Ability to work independently in a remote delivery model
• Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures

Preferred Qualifications

• Sirion CLM certifications or formal product training
• Experience with integrations (ERP, CRM, eSignature, OCR, third-party systems)
• Consulting or system integrator background
• Exposure to regulated industries (BFSI, Life Sciences, Energy, Telecom, Technology)
