The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

3M is seeking a Treasury Specialist to support global Treasury operations and initiatives.
The role involves working with internal stakeholders, banking partners, and auditors across time zones. Key responsibilities include LC/BG issuance, FX transactions, In-House Bank activities, cash forecasting, and Kyriba TMS transactions.
The ideal candidate is analytical, self-driven, comfortable with large data sets, and able to manage multiple priorities. This role requires flexibility to collaborate across time zones and contribute to global Treasury initiatives. The primary roles & responsibilities would be to:

• Support end-to-end Treasury operations, including Treasury & Risk Management, Cash & Liquidity Management, In-House Cash, and Bank Communication Management.
• Partner with internal auditors, regional Treasury teams, banks, and financial institutions to ensure smooth operations, timely deliverables, and zero SOX deficiencies.
• Understand Treasury-related business processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency across global workflows.
• Troubleshoot banking issues, ensure smooth bank statement integrations, and oversee Kyriba bank statement monitoring by proactively resolving failures.
• Monitor daily cash and cash equivalents, prepare insights for senior stakeholders, and support effective cash visibility and reporting.
• Manage In-House Bank processes, including unapplied funds posting to G/L, intercompany loan and deposit reporting, and intercompany cash pooling, while driving process improvements, automation, and global best practices.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• 5+ years of Treasury, Cash Management, Banking Operations or related experience.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• SOX, audit and process automation experience.
• Ability to work across global time zones.
• Kyriba TMS experience
• Strong analytical skills and large data set management.

Work Location: Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka), Hybrid Mode
