As a Security Guard Full Time Entry Credential Validation in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; communicate access concerns, irregularities, and unauthorized-entry attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; report observed hazards, damaged equipment, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
