Are you passionate about leading complex embedded software programs at the intersection of hardware and software? We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Project Manager with deep expertise in Device Driver development and a proven ability to navigate low-level hardware constraints while driving end-to-end project execution. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role An Embedded Software Project Manager specializing in Device Drivers must possess a unique hybrid skillset, bridging the gap between low-level hardware constraints and high-level project execution. They are responsible for managing timelines, cross-functional teams, and the architectural risks inherent to low-level hardware abstraction. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science 8+ years of total experience in embedded systems, including at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or project management role. A proven track record of designing, developing, and debugging device drivers Standard PM credentials like PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are highly preferred. Ability to manage project dependencies where code cannot be completed or tested until silicon, prototypes, or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulators are ready Proficiency in mixing Agile methodologies (for iterative driver features) with Waterfall milestones (aligned with rigid physical hardware tape-outs and manufacturing deadlines) Defining alternative timelines if custom chips or silicon samples arrive late or display physical defects. Managing specialized engineers (e.g., separating the application layer team from the hardware abstraction layer team). #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
