ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Warehouse team keeps raw materials, packaging, and finished product moving accurately between our facilities, co-packing partners, and distribution — and Shipping & Receiving Associates keep that inventory picture accurate every step of the way.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and tracking of finished goods — keeping our inventory records precise and our warehouse running smoothly.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Detail-driven work that directly protects inventory accuracy and product traceability
• Close collaboration with Warehouse leadership, Inventory Management, Production, and Logistics
• Hands-on variety — receiving, cycle counts, reconciliation, and day-to-day warehouse support
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Receive and verify inbound shipments, validating quantities, lot information, product condition, and documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system, including lot control and expiration-date tracking
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, and help investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and inventory control procedures, and report unsafe conditions or damaged product
• Support daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations alongside your team
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 160 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable twisting, turning, crouching, stooping, and squatting repeatedly throughout the workday
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice-to-haves:
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, manufacturing, or distribution experience
• Experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, RF scanners, or inventory tracking software
• Forklift certification, or willingness to become certified
• Further education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
BENEFITS & PERKS
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days
• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
• 401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%
• 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here
• 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)
• A free beer after shift, because you earned it
PAY & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $21.00/hr — rate not yet provided
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
Full-time, non-exempt
