About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing Indirect Tax team in Sydney. Working closely with our Partners, Directors and Managers, you will advise local and global organisations across a broad range of indirect tax matters, including GST, , stamp duty, land tax and other state taxes.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your specialist expertise, gain exposure to complex advisory matters, build trusted client relationships and contribute to a collaborative and high performing team.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in delivering high-quality advice on GST, stamp duty, payroll tax, land tax and other indirect tax matters across a diverse range of industries
Support clients through major transactions and projects, including mergers and acquisitions, restructures, due diligence reviews, property transactions and cross-border arrangements
Help clients manage their indirect tax obligations, including preparation of Business Activity Statements, duty submissions and assist in responses to reviews or audits
Build trusted relationships with clients through regular interaction and meeting participation
Contribute to a positive, high performing team culture focused on collaboration and excellence

About You
Demonstrated experience in indirect tax within professional services, a law firm or government
A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Law, or a combined Law/Business or Commerce degree
Strong technical capability with the ability to apply legislation and guidance in a practical and commercial context
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
