Overview

Join our team as a Senior Community Manager where you’ll play a key role in the delivery of key messaging and community building for a national brand. This role has multiple touchpoints and requires a high-level attention to detail. With a passion for all things social, this role requires someone with deep knowledge of social platforms, an eye for trends, and an ear for sentiment.

 

Please note this is a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

Project Management: 

• Curate and manage a detailed content calendar.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders for consistent messaging and scheduled collaboration posts.

Strategic Trend & Competitive Analysis: 

• Proactively identify emerging trends and analyze competitor programs to recommend new opportunities for brand presence.
• Support strategic thinking on content direction, recommending relevant content themes and formats to ensure social relevance and audience engagement.

Community Engagement: 

• Actively engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Proactively engage with relevant posts from other accounts, including those of moms and community members, to foster growth and build relationships.

Monitoring & Reporting: 

• Implement social listening to track brand mentions and sentiment.
• Monitor performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.

 

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years’ experience as a Community Manager or Project Manager in the social space.
• Demonstrated aptitude for measurement, working with data and insights and actioning them into effective campaigns.
• Highly organized, process oriented with keen eye for detail and an ability to understand and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Passion for storytelling, strategy, innovation, and delivering results.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Canadian social media landscape
• Previous experience working on consumer-packaged goods is an asset

Salary 

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD$70K-$80K per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
