The Project
HumeLink East forms part of one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects. ACCIONA, in joint venture with Genus, will design and construct 230km of new 500kV double circuit transmission line and expand the existing Bannaby 500kV substation. The line connects Bannaby to the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West. The project strengthens the national grid and supports the shift to renewable energy.
The Opportunity
As a travel coordinator on the HumeLink East Project, you will play a key role in coordinating accommodation and travel requirements for our project workforce and staff members. This position will assist the accommodation planning and coordination, ensuring suitable and cost-effective solutions are available to meet project requirements.
The role will work closely with internal project teams, accommodation providers, landowners, local businesses and other stakeholders to manage current and future accommodation needs.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate accommodation requirements for project personnel, including bookings, changes, extensions and cancellations.
Assist travel requirements, including flights and associated travel arrangements.
Plan and coordinate accommodation requirements in line with workforce forecasts, rosters and project needs.
Monitor accommodation utilisation and booking requirements to support efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
Work closely with Corporate Traveller and other travel providers to coordinate workforce travel arrangements.
Liaise closely with operational teams, site management and other project functions regarding workforce movements and accommodation requirements.
Identify and resolve accommodation and travel issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records, documentation and administrative processes in accordance with project and the Acciona Genus Jonit venture requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
Previous experience in a Site Administrator, Project Administrator, Travel/Accommodation Coordinator or similar role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, mining or a project-based environment.
Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume accommodation, travel and workforce logistics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, trackers and reports.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
