Job Title: Dietary Aide (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $18.90 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, various hours across the week and weekend
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents/guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position offers flexible part-time hours with shifts available during the week and on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the Dietary Manager or Cook.
Set up dining rooms with necessary tableware, utensils, and condiments.
Serve meals and beverages accurately according to specific dietary plans and restrictions.
Clear tables and transport dishes back to the kitchen area for cleaning.
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment ensuring all sanitation standards are strictly met.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including countertops, floors, and storage areas.
Dispose of trash and recycle materials according to facility protocols.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.
Ability to read, write, and follow spoken instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
