Description
- Execute purchasing activities for indirect categories, including maintenance, repair and operations supplies, facility materials, tooling, safety equipment, and general services.
- Support sourcing projects by preparing and managing requests for quotation, conducting supplier evaluations, and participating in negotiations.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, delivery performance, and compliance with business requirements.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, define purchasing requirements, and prioritize procurement activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and support corrective actions to address service or delivery issues.
- Track procurement metrics and contribute to cost management initiatives that support operational objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, compliance, and procurement effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management practices.
- Experience using SAP, SAP Ariba, or similar procurement systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing or other fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience within a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
