Senior Manager, Corporate Card Vendor Programs

What is the opportunity?

Own and optimize RBC's corporate card program portfolio globally, spanning Purchasing Cards, Ghost Cards, and corporate credit programs. Partner with leading card vendors and ensure seamless integration with expense management systems. Serve as the internal thought leader on corporate card market trends and best practices, advising leadership on emerging opportunities and competitive positioning. Balance vendor management, product optimization, compliance, and user experience while managing program efficiency and cost savings across North America, Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Australia, and emerging markets. Drive strategic enhancements that improve employee and supplier experience.

What will you do?

• Manage multi-product vendor partnerships (P-Cards, Ghost Cards, corporate credit programs); monitor SLAs, conduct quarterly business reviews, and negotiate contracts with competitive intelligence
• Oversee ghost card lifecycle management including creation, supplier assignment, spending limits, reconciliation, deactivation, and fraud monitoring across all geographies
• Develop deep expertise in corporate card market trends, competitive offerings, and industry best practices; synthesize intelligence into strategic recommendations for leadership
• Conduct competitive benchmarking analysis of RBC's programs against peers; prepare annual competitive analysis reports and advise on market positioning and investment decisions
• Ensure seamless integration between corporate card processors and expense platforms (SAP Concur, Coupa) for automatic expense capture, transaction reconciliation, and policy compliance
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks aligned with PCI-DSS, AML/OFAC, and applicable regulations; establish fraud detection policies and ghost card usage controls
• Create management dashboards tracking spend by card type, business unit, geography, and merchant category; generate monthly/quarterly reports for Finance and business leadership
• Champion employee and supplier experience through user feedback collection, training development, and continuous service quality improvements

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 4–7 years of progressive experience in program management, vendor management, corporate card operations, procurement, or payment systems/fintech roles
• Minimum 2+ years managing ongoing vendor relationships, contracts, and SLA governance in a financial services environment
• Working knowledge of expense management systems (SAP Concur, Coupa, or similar) and card data feed/integration mechanisms
• Demonstrated familiarity with corporate card products (Purchasing Cards, ghost cards, corporate credit programs) and vendor market landscape
• Ability to research, synthesize, and communicate market trends; translate competitive intelligence into actionable business recommendations

Nice-to-have: 

• Master's degree (MBA or related) or hands-on experience with corporate card vendors  
• Direct experience managing P-Card programs, ghost card/virtual card programs, or supplier payment card programs
• Background in procurement, accounts payable, expense management, or working capital optimization
• Active participation in corporate payments or financial services industry associations/conferences; published thought leadership on corporate payments
