About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney who thrives in the courtroom and enjoys taking ownership of complex litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to serve as lead counsel, develop case strategy, and represent clients throughout the litigation process.

What You’ll Do

• Manage personal injury litigation matters from assignment through settlement or verdict.
• Serve as lead trial counsel and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies, evaluate case value, and assess risk.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare and argue motions, discovery matters, and evidentiary issues.
• Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to maximize outcomes.
• Utilize legal technology and case management systems to manage files efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• Personal injury litigation experience.
• Minimum of five jury trials to verdict as lead counsel or significant trial counsel.
• Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills.
• Plaintiff-side personal injury experience preferred.
• Experience with legal technology and case management systems.
• Strong communication, client service, and relationship-building skills.
