Position Description
The Scheduler/Planner is responsible for coordinating the workflow of work and materials within and between manufacturing departments according to daily and weekly production schedules.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience working in manufacturing environment preferred. 1 year of MRP system experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detailed oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Essential Functions
- Run daily MRP system to generate shop order routing prior to order release.
- Assist shipping and receiving to maintain shipping schedules.
- Assist with maintaining raw and finished goods inventory levels.
- Assist the shipping department with material receipts and finished goods items.
- Perform other duties as assigned and needed.
